The aim of
this site is to help you get the best possible results from the
photos taken at your wedding. disposable cameras
have become a key part of many
wedding celebrations, but does the wedding disposable camera
actual add value at your wedding?
First a
little history, the disposable camera has been around since 1986, when
it was first
developed by Fujifilm.
They are also
often called
single use cameras and
have, since the early 1990's become a must have for many couples
considering their wedding planning activities. disposable
cameras come in a variety of colours
and typically brides will chose either a
white disposable
camera, silver
disposable camera
pink disposable camera
or gold disposable camera,
to match the overall colour theme of the wedding.
More recently, with the popularisation of digital
photography we have seen the launch of a number of digital
disposable cameras.
Although
digital disposable wedding cameras are more expensive than
cheap disposable wedding
cameras available from many vendors,
they offer greater flexibility as they do not rely on film and
negatives.
The quality of results from many of the disposable
cameras is variable. In good day light conditions some quite good
results have been achieved, but many of these cameras start to
provide weaker results when the users attempt to use them in low
light conditions.
This typically can be a problem as many of these
cameras are purchased by the bride and groom to capture the less
formal atmosphere at the wedding reception, which typically starts
in the good light of the day and stretches on into the evening.
When thinking about what results the bride and
groom wish to achieve in their final wedding photo album the role of
the cheap disposable camera or the digital disposable camera should
be carefully considered.
It is very easy to go out and purchase a
disposable camera for each table at your wedding reception, cameras
usually costing from around £3 each, but you need to consider the
overall cost of getting the films developed and processed in
addition to the initial purchase price.
The
cheap wedding disposable
camera may not turn out to be
the cheapest
or most effective way of capturing
the less formal moments at your wedding.
These days many
wedding guests bring their own
compact digital cameras, or even SLR digital camera to weddings.
At a recent family wedding we ended up
with nearly 2000 photos being taken throughout the course of the
day. The result achieved by people with their own digital cameras
were by far superior to those results achieved by the users of the
disposable cameras provided by the bride and groom.
We believe this
is partly because the more traditional digital camera or compact
digital camera has by far superior technology within it and partly
because the user is more familiar with a camera they have used
before.
Planning Your Wedding Photography
If your wedding budget permits you to have a
professional wedding photographer we would always encourage you to
have one.
We have seen many great pictures taken by guests
at weddings. However the resulting photographs taken by wedding
guests are usually by far superior if a professional wedding
photographer has been involved. Your photographer does more than
just snap pictures, he or she will;
-
help you select the correct locations for
each shot
-
teach you how to pose to ensure you look your
best
-
select the best lighting position for each
pose
-
ensure you are at ease and looking happy when
they take the photo's
-
ensure that you get all the photos you wish,
with the people you want in them
-
arrange each shots poses so your photos look
professional
-
get you to do things you would not normally
do, this can produce some great wedding pictures
-
they will also under take corrections to
photos after they have taken them, for example removing that
nasty spot that came up on the wedding morning, or removing
telephone wires in the perfect bride and groom landscape
picture.
If you have an official photographer they may not
capture every memory from your wedding, they are after all only
human and can only be in one place at a time. It is therefore
helpful to make some provision to try and round up any photos taken
by guests at your wedding who have brought along their own digital
cameras We operate a service designed to allow your guests to
take, upload, share and print photos taken as part of your wedding
this can be found at

www.weddingphotoshot.com.
Here you can
subscribe to a service that will provide a central place where all
of your photos can be stored, download and printed, by both
yourselves and your wedding guests. They will also provide all the
printed wedding stationary you need for your guests at the church
and reception to inform them of the on-line album facility and how
they can help share your memories.
