How To Look Your Best On Your Wedding Day |
How to look the best on your Wedding day ? As someone who got married recently one of the things I really wanted to know was how could I look my best in my wedding photos. In my case the obvious answer was go on a diet. So here is the first tip. If the diet has not accomplished all you would want my photographer gave me another tip that really seemed to help, to look thinner in your wedding photos, slightly raise your chin and lean forward slightly into the camera. This has the effect of stretch your whole body a little and just makes you look more taught. We can't claim credit for all of the other tips we have included here as they have come from wide variety of sources including some of the key people we partner with, but we hope you find them useful. Don't forget we want to help you capture every moment and every memory form your wedding that's why we launched our unique on-line wedding album, so you, your guest and even your professional photographer can share any pictures taken on your wedding day. To find out more details please visit our other site www.weddingphotoshot.com Tips for The Bride Don't forget to wear waterproof mascara as weddings can be very emotional and the last thing you'll want to do is have to start reapplying your make up after the ceremony If you are having black and white photographs steer clear of dark red lipstick and heavy blusher, as these will appear even darker while too pale pastel colours can fade out completely. Pinky-brown lipsticks will whiten teeth while orange and red tones will make them look brownish against your dress. Make sure that your jewellery, veil and headdress compliment each other too much fussiness will look cluttered in the photographs. Treat yourself to a professional manicure; your hands will be the focus of a few pictures from signing the register to cutting the cake and close up shots of your rings. Have your eyebrows and legs waxed at a salon at least 2 days before the day, this will allow time for any redness to calm down. Most importantly relax and enjoy your day it only happens once and if you're enjoying yourself this will really show in the photographs. Tips For the Bride and Groom If you are having a professional wedding photographer make sure you meet them and see some of there work. Individual styles vary so much between photographers. Also when you meet them choose one that you like and who puts you at your ease. Being relaxed is half the battle in getting great wedding shots. Many photographers include a pre-wedding shot as part of their wedding package, this is a great idea as it allows you to meet your photographer before the wedding and get use to being put in the most favourable poses. If you photographer doesn't offer this service ask them to include it free of charge and arrange to do the shoot at the wedding location. By doing this your photographer gets to see all of the venues in advance and can start to formulate ideas of which photos should be taken in which locations. Think about what photographers you absolutely must have and make a list of them to discuss with your photographer. Give the list to the best man and or ushers and get them to ensure the relevant guests are around at the appropriate times so no photos are missed and the overall time taken to do photo is reduced. If you are doing a receiving line think about which side of you you want your photographer. At my wedding the photographer stood in front of me and my bride which meant we had lots of pictures with us in them all of which had the back of our guests heads. A mixture would have been nice. Wedding photography always takes long then you may think so budget plenty of time in the schedule. Consider the bride and groom slipping off with the photographer between courses at your wedding breakfast to take some of the shots of the two of you. This way you will not bore your guests and you will feel more relaxed, when asked to do some of the silly things photographers inevitably ask you to do. Trust him or her the photos will look great. Relax and have fun, the day will be over before you know it has began. |
